#VancouverIStay has city tweeting why they love it
Initiative started by 3 bloggers who wanted to highlight positive aspects of Vancouver

Tired of hearing mostly negative things about Vancouver, a trio of聽bloggers聽set out to find people with positive things to say about the city.聽
That's why聽Cassandra聽Anderton聽and two other bloggers聽hit up several locations around Vancouver, asking people to shoot short videos and write messages聽on why they love the city.聽
The聽bloggers聽say they know Vancouver has housing聽affordability issues, but they wanted to focus on positive aspects of living in the city for a day.聽
They got more than 30 people to jot down what they love about Vancouver and many more on social media.聽
They've had dozens of posters signed, people giving different reasons why they love Vancouver. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/vancouveristay?src=hash">#vancouveristay</a> <a href="https://t.co/C2x499CF6o">pic.twitter.com/C2x499CF6o</a>

Anderton admits there were some people who chose not to sign the boards and many didn't have positive things to say.
"We're not trying to whitewash anything here," she said.聽"We're just trying to show the other聽side for a day or two and bring people together over something positive."
