Andreea Thoma, chief licensing inspector for the City of Vancouver, says the city expects to have the papers filed by early next week.
"This week we are swearing the last of the affidavits for ten more locations," said Thoma.
"Next week we're filing ten more injunctions under the medical marijuana use [bylaws] that have been operating outside of our regulation."
This comes in addition to the 17 pot shops that have already been served injunctions to shut down or relocate.
"Some are choosing to allow for the court dates to come forward, and let it play out in court," said Thoma. "One has voluntarily closed, another is closing by the end of the month when their lease is up."
Back in October, the City gave 140 marijuana dispensaries a deadline of April 29 to relocate or close.
