People who are uncomfortable with the situation don't have to worry because the swims are private events, Don Pitcairn of Surrey's United Naturists said.
He said the swims were cancelled in 2003 when the city said allowing nude swims amounted to workplace harassment for lifeguards.
Lifeguards who feel uncomfortable won't be required to work at the nude swims.
