Man arrested for alleged sexually motivated break and enters

Police have arrested a Calgary man who allegedly broke into two homes of female residents in what are believed to be sexually motivated occurrences.

Both break-ins happened within 6 hours of each other to 2 women in Forest Lawn

Police have arrested a Calgary man who allegedly broke into two women's homes on Sunday in what are believed to be sexually motivated occurrences.

Police say they identified the man as Paul Barrett, 20, who has been arrested on Monday for break and enter with intent.

On Sunday at approximately 6:30 a.m., a female resident in Forest Lawn woke to the man standing over her bed, however police say he fled after the woman woke up.

A few hours later at approximately 12:30 p.m., a second female in Forest Lawn discovered the same man in her home after stepping out of the shower. A news release says he fled when the woman confronted him.
