Famed wrestler Bret Hart, facing a battle with cancer, takes us on a tour of the places in his home town that mean the most of him, and reflects on a life uniquely lived.

He's a Calgary legend.

Earlier this week, pro-wrestling hall of famer Bret 'The Hitman' Hart announced he's been diagnosed prostate cancer.

The 58-year-old pledged to wage a "fearsome fight" against the disease, "carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that's kept me going this long already."

Bret, of course, is a member of the famous Hart wrestling dynasty. His family is one of the best known in our city. Their history is a part of our history.

A couple weeks back, before his cancer announcement, we asked Bret to show us around his Calgary, as part of our Calgary at a Crossroads project.

Bret and the CBC's Mike Symington hit the road.

And boy did Bret ever have some stories to tell.

It's Calgary, like you just might remember it.
