Construction site break-in suspect sought by Calgary police
CCTV captures moment suspect realizes he's staring directly into a security camera
Calgary police want the public's help identifying a break-in suspect who appears to realize just a split-second too late that he's on CCTV.
The man's face was captured by a security camera at a southwest construction site that was robbed in the early-morning hours of Jan. 14.
Police were called to 7615 17th Ave. S.W. at about 4:20 a.m. over reports of a break-in at the site, where several trailers had their locks cut and tools worth about $11,000 were stolen.
The suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a black hoodie, black toque and gloves.
He also appears to have a large tattoo of a spider web on his neck.
Anyone with information about his identity or the incident in general is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
