Calgary police seek woman who may have information on double homicide

Police have released images and video of a woman who may have information on a 2019 double homicide in northeast Calgary, as well as asking for help from anyone who might know the origins of the murder weapon.
The killings took place on the 2400 block of 37 Ave. N.E. on April 3, 2019, at about 2:15 a.m. Police said the attackers waited in a vehicle for the victims, then drove past them, with one person firing multiple rounds.
When police arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside another vehicle. One of the men died at the scene, while another died later in hospital.

A woman who was in the back seat of the car was unharmed.
In a news release on Thursday, police appealed for help finding another woman who was seen in the area around that time.
Police described her as about 25 years old, 5' 8" and 130 pounds, with long straight black hair. She was driving a white Ford Escape SUV, believed to be in model years 2013 to 2019.
Police say they believe the woman might have information on the shooting.
Investigators have also recovered the murder weapon, a Russian SKS rifle, and want to speak with anyone who knows where it came from.
Police said the suspects in the case, who they didn't identify, have ties to B.C.'s Lower Mainland.
