Calgary police release composite sketch of suspect in northwest sexual assault
Woman approached from behind and groped, police say
Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in northwest Calgary.
On Sept. 27, a woman was walking near First Avenue and 25th Street N.W. around 6:20 p.m. when a man approached her from behind and groped her before fleeing on foot, police said in a news release on Tuesday.
The victim did not know her assailant.
Police are sharing a composite sketch of the suspect, whom they described as white and six feet tall, with an average build and short dark hair.
He was wearing sunglasses, an orange and red athletic jacket and shorts.
Police are asking anyone who is familiar with the suspect or aware of his identity to contact law enforcement through the CPS non-emergency line at 403-266-1234.
