Calgary police investigating after deadly stabbing in Bowness

Calgary police said its homicide unit is investigating after a man was stabbed early Tuesday morning in the city’s Bowness area.

Calgary police said its homicide unit is investigating after a man was stabbed early Tuesday morning in the city's Bowness area.

In a news release, police said around 3:25 a.m. officers were called to reports of a disturbance in the 7700 block of 41st Avenue N.W.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds.

The man died at the scene, police said.

Police said two men who were also at the scene were taken into custody. An autopsy date is yet to be determined.
