Police are trying to reunite Calgarians with their property after recovering a large stash of stolen goods in February.

Officers had impounded a vehicle after citizens reported suspicious activity in a store and parking lot in the 8000 block of Coventry Hills Blvd. N.W. Police noticed a significant amount of property in a truck and determined the vehicle was not registered.

Police carried out a search warrant on the vehicle on Feb. 2 and found drugs, break-and-enter tools, electronics, jewelry and a firearm.

This jump starter was among the stolen items police have recovered.

Much of the property has been returned to the rightful owners, but police are still seeking other people to come forward and claim their items.

A 36-year-old Calgary man has been charged with one count of possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, two counts of breach of recognizance, one count of possession of break-and-enter tools and one count of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
