Southern Albertans will continue to hear their own stories on CBC Calgary as the Lethbridge pop-up news bureau has launched again.

Over the next few months, the CBC Lethbridge bureau will keep exploring the issues impacting southern Albertans and reflect what residents are thinking and talking about.

A new texting service which launched in September will continue to allow residents to connect with the Lethbridge bureau and provide story tips and feedback.

The Lethbridge bureau will also send messages to the texting community informing them what coverage is on the horizon and how they can get involved.

Reporter Jennifer Dorozio has taken over the bureau role from CBC reporter Joel Dryden.

Prior to joining CBC News in 2019, Dorozio wrote for magazines across the province, including Dementia Connections, the Alberta Cancer Foundation's Leap Magazine and Avenue Calgary.

Her recent story with the bureau looks at how busy women's shelters are connected to area housing issues.
