Our Gear Up underwear drive in support of Gear Up for Winter on October 26 was a great success, but we've received requests to extend it for those who couldn't make it over the weekend.
No problem! Donations are now accepted until Friday, November 1, 2024.
Please drop off new underwear (for all ages and genders), mittens/gloves, or $20 gift cards at the security desk at CBC Calgary (1000 Veterans Place NW). Hours of operation are Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

What items are we collecting?
- New underwear (for all genders and ages)
- Mittens/gloves
- $20 Gift cards in spirit of campaign's 20th anniversary (Tim Hortons, Walmart, Dollarama, McDonald's, Safeway etc.)
What is Gear Up for Winter?
Gear Up for Winter is a one-day event on Nov. 7 that provides youth who are vulnerable or at-risk an afternoon off the streets to do some self-care and pick up warm clothing and supplies. They also get the opportunity to connect with service providers in an informal and welcoming setting.
