Share your photos and videos of what spring looks like in Calgary

Ahhh, the splendour of spring. The grass is turning green, trees are sweetly blooming, and flowers are popping up through the garden soil – all to the cheerful melody of songbirds.

It's time to enjoy this annual re-awakening to nature in our backyards, outside our windows, and on walks through our neighbourhoods.

While you're out, we want you to capture photos and videos of the signs of spring in your neighbourhood.

It's all part of CBC's Hello Spring, a Canada-wide digital initiative inviting Canadians to share their own unique glimpses of spring across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, using the hashtag #HelloSpringCBC or by visiting cbc.ca/hellospring.

In return, CBC will collect and highlight the best of these images and videos on the Hello Spring website, putting your front gardens, backyards, and windowsills front and centre in a colourful curation of springtime scenes.
