Motorcycle crash closes part of Crowchild Trail in Calgary

Traffic was rerouted by police for a few hours in the northwest part of the city because of an accident involving a motorcycle on Thursday evening.
Det. Emma Parker of the Calgary Police Service said a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle shut down the southbound lanes of Crowchild Trail at Memorial Drive N.W.
Traffic in the area was re-routed to Kensington Road N.W. and YYC Transportation tweeted that people should use an alternate route, or avoid the area if possible.
