Deerfoot Trail reopens follow afternoon closure
Both directions were temporarily closed with multiple collisions Friday afternoon
Deerfoot Trail has now fully reopened after temporarily being closed in both directions as Calgary police dealt with multiple collisions.

Police were called at around 12:20 p.m. for reports of multiple collisions, involving about six vehicles, on southbound Deerfoot Trail, according to Calgary police.
One person was taken to hospital in serious, potentially life-threatening condition.
