John Forzani on life support in California hospital
Calgary businessman and former CFL football player John Forzani is in a California hospital on life support after suffering a heart attack or stroke, according to his brother.

Calgary businessman and former CFL football player John Forzani is on life support in a California hospital.
Forzani was an offensive lineman with the Calgary Stampeders for seven years. He opened the Forzani Locker Room in 1974 and then acquired the Sport Chek chain.
The Forzani Group eventually became Canada's largest sports retail business before it was sold to Canadian Tire.
The 67-year-old Forzani stepped down from his role with the company in 2006.
The Forzani family says John suffered either a massive stroke or heart attack.
He's at a hospital in Palm Springs.
