The first happened on April 24 and involved a Toronto resident arriving from Amsterdam.
The second was on April 30 and involved an Edmonton woman, also arriving from Amsterdam.
In all, 16 kilograms of what is believed to be heroin was seized after it was spotted using security X-rays on suitcases.
The quantity could produce 800,000 doses of heroin, according to a CBSA spokesperson.

Both people were arrested and turned over to the RCMP.
