Discount air service NewLeaf to offer flights to Phoenix from Calgary and Edmonton
Seasonal flights will go from January to end of April
Discount air travel company NewLeaf will start providing flights from Calgary and Edmonton to Phoenix, Az., next year.
The company, which operates in partnership with Flair Airlines, will offer three weekly flights to the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway from Calgary from Jan. 19 to the end of April.
In Edmonton, the once-weekly flight will depart Saturdays between Jan. 21 to the end of April.
The company previously announced it will provide fares to and from Calgary International Airport to Abbotsford, Hamilton, Halifax, and Moncton from Dec. 16 to Jan. 8.
"Every time we expand our schedule, we prove the 'experts' wrong, and we are quite happy about that," said President and CEO Jim Young in a release.
NewLeaf is also offering flights from Hamilton, Ont., to Orlando Melbourne airport in Florida.
