No foul play suspected after body found in Bow River
A body has been found in Calgary's Bow River.
Autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday
Calgary police do not suspect that foul play played a role in how a dead body ended up in the Bow River.
The body of an adult male was found in the Bow River late Saturday night. Rafters spotted the body while floating down the river and called police once they got off.
Police responded at 11 p.m. MT and discovered the body near the riverbank in the northwest Calgary community of Bowness.
At this point there is no indication as to how the body ended up in the river.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday at the earliest to determine cause of death.
