Mounties in Rimbey, Alta., are still looking for a camouflage-clad suspect who they say broke into an auction house and stole a "substantial amount" of frozen meat on May 28.

RCMP released a photo of the suspect on Tuesday, more than five weeks after the theft, in an attempt to rustle up any information from the public that may help them crack the cold case.

The suspect was caught on a security camera entering the Vold, Jones & Vold Auction Company in Rimbey in the early morning hours of May 28, according to police.

He was wearing a camo coat and blue jeans at the time, and was recorded entering and leaving the auction house multiple times as he hauled out load after load of frozen meat.

The suspect may be associated with a motorhome that was spotted in the alley north of the auction house at the time, but RCMP said that is "not confirmed."

Police are also investigating whether the case is connected to another break and enter at the nearby Rimbey Agrim Centre around the same time.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Rimbey RCMP at 403-843-2223 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

Rimbey is about 200 kilometres north of Calgary.
