Man sprinkles white powder containing meth outside downtown Calgary courthouse

Police are searching for the culprit, a man described as about 55 to 60 with grey hair, who sprinkled a powder that contained methamphetamine outside the Calgary Courts Centre.

Police are searching for a man who sprinkled methamphetamine outside a downtown courthouse on Thursday morning. 

A man sprinkled white powder around the Calgary Courts Centre entrance and building on Fifth Street S.W. around 8 a.m., according to police.

He then fled the scene. 

The Calgary Police Service said court staff tested the powder and found it contained methamphetamine. 

The investigation is ongoing as police search for the culprit, who is described as a man with grey hair between 55 and 60 years old.
