A woman is recovering in a Calgary hospital after being attacked by two dogs early Saturday morning.
A woman is recovering in a Calgary hospital after being attacked by two dogs early Saturday morning.
RCMP said two "pitbull-type dogs" attacked the woman just before 2 a.m. MT at a mobile home in Sundre.
The 26-year-old woman suffered mulitple traumatic injuries and was first taken to the local hospital before being flown to the Foothills Hospital where she is expected to survive.
Cpl. Ryan Hodge said one dog was put down at the scene because it acted aggressively towards RCMP officers who responded to the scene.
The other is in quarantine.
RCMP said the injured woman was visiting the home when she was attacked.
Sundre is about 115 kilometres north of Calgary.
