For more than five years, an Edmonton comic shop has given local artists a unique opportunity to enhance their creative skills.

Happy Harbor Comics' Artist-in-Residence program doesn't just give them a platform to showcase their work — it also gives them the support needed to be creative.

The program is one of the first of its kind in North America.
