Homicide detectives probe fatal shooting near Whyte Avenue

Edmonton homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death near Whyte Avenue early today.

Police received a report of a shooting in the area of 81st Avenue and 104th Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The man who was shot was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy has not been scheduled at this time.
