It was to Nickelback's high-octane profanity-laden Burn it to the Ground that PC Leader Jim Prentice announced Albertans will go to the polls on May 5.

A strange choice made even stranger by the name of the album, Dark Horse.

Earlier in the morning CBC host Mark Connolly asked Edmonton AM listeners what song would make the best campaign theme song for each of Alberta's parties.
