The charges from Halton police come less than a week after the same man was charged by Niagara police after 20 high-end road-racing bikes were stolen from garages in St. Catharines, Lincoln and Grimsby.
According to police, the bikes were stolen before being sold on a buy-and-sell website.
Two mountain bikes valued over $20,000 were stolen from a garage in Ancaster in February 2017. The bicycles stolen include a blue 2016 Yeti SB6, valued over $14,000 and a black and pink 2015 Santa Cruz Bronson, worth over $6500.
Halton police told CBC News they plan on working with Hamilton police to investigate any possible connection to the individual charged.
The 30-year-old Grimsby man was released on promise to appear in Milton Court on Apr. 12.
