CHCH truck rolls over in collision; minivan driver arrested
A CHCH news live truck rolled over in a collision with a minivan at the corner of Caroline and Hunter streets around 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Emergency crews freed the driver of the news truck, Phil Fraboni, and took him to hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark-coloured van driving erratically through the area and hearing its occupants yelling, said Hamilton Police spokesman Const. Stephen Welton.

The driver of the van, in his early 20s, was arrested and taken for breath-testing. He was found to be at least two times over the legal limit, Welton said.
Police found a vodka bottle inside the van. The passenger of the van was "very cooperative," he said. The police investigation into the collision is still ongoing, he said.

Welton said the incident on a weekday morning emphasizes a need for police drunk-driving enforcement and checking 24/7.
"There's a reason we do that. We must continue to send the message as well as enforce the law," he said. "We're very fortunate that no one was seriously injured today."
Fabroni was released from hospital and tweeted he was doing OK.
