Search for missing Dundas senior enters 3rd week, police say
Hamilton police continue to search for 62-year-old John Edwards, last seen June 11

Hamilton police say they are entering the third week of their search for a missing man from Dundas, continuing to focus efforts in rural Flamborough.
John Edwards, 62, was last seen on June 11 around 4 p.m. at an Esso gas station near Millgrove Side Road and Concession 5 West. Security footage shows him walking south from the gas station. He was wearing dark pants, a red and white T-shirt, and a white baseball cap.
Since then, police have set up a command post at Millgrove United Church. The search operation has included foot patrols, canine and mounted units, as well as aerial drones and thermal imaging equipment.
Police say Edwards left St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas on foot the day he went missing. He did not have a phone, money, or identification with him, and police describe him as vulnerable. There is no indication of foul play, but officers say the risk to his safety increases as time passes, especially due to hot weather and the challenging terrain in the area.
Investigators have also received tips about possible sightings in other areas of Hamilton and as far as Milton. The search is ongoing.
