Suspects fled country after B.C. man's homicide in Hamilton, police say
Oliver Karafa and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li are also wanted for the attempted murder of a 2nd victim

Two suspects wanted in connection with a homicide and attempted murder in Stoney Creek last month have fled the country, Hamilton police say.
Earlier this month, Hamilton police issued warrants for Oliver Karafa, 28, and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li, 25, suspected to be involved in the shooting death of Tyler Pratt, a 39-year-old man from B.C.
Police said the two are wanted for first-degree murder and the attempted murder of a second victim.
On Friday, police said Karafa and Li boarded a flight from Canada to Eastern Europe around 24 hours after the incident.
"Based on information, we believe that 28-year-old Oliver Karafa and 25-year-old Yun (Lucy) Lu LI, boarded a flight from Canada to Eastern Europe approximately 24 hours after the murder of Tyler Pratt and the attempted murder of a second victim," Staff Sgt. Jim Callender said in a video statement.

Callender said investigators believe the suspects are aware that they are wanted and are actively evading police.
"Oliver and Lucy, if you are seeing this, we encourage you to turn yourselves in. We are working closely with international authorities and we are positive that our investigation will lead to your whereabouts," he said.
Pratt was shot dead in Stoney Creek on Feb. 28. A woman was also shot in the same incident and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Hamilton police say they have recovered the vehicles believed to have been involved in the incident and are seeking to locate Karafa and Li.
Anyone with information is asked not to approach the individuals and notify police.
If you have information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Karafa and Li, police say you should contact Det. David Tsuchida by calling 905-546-4123. To provide information anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
