The last time the Cats played for fans in Hamilton was November 2019 against the now-renamed Edmonton Elks.
It's been a while since Hamilton has been able to Oskee-wee-wee for its beloved Tiger-Cats, so many local fans will likely jump at the chance to watch the team for free at its training camp Sunday morning.
In an email sent to fans Tuesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats said they are opening practice on Sunday between 8:30 and 11 a.m. to fans who reserve spots in advance.
"Join us at Tim Hortons Field this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. to catch the Ticats in action during training camp!" states the email.
Those planning to attend must book tickets online. There is a maximum of four per booking.
The last time the Ticats played for fans in Hamilton was Nov. 17, 2019, when they won the divisional championship against the now-renamed Edmonton Elks.
The Cats went on to lose the Grey Cup to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers the following week.
