Cougar sightings around Kamloops cause for concern
Wolves and cougars. Two very good reasons to keep your dog close when you're out hiking around. Frank Ritcey, our resident wildlife expert, has some advice.
A number of cougars have been sighted around Kamloops in the past few months. Just over a week ago, one was spotted up in Aberdeen near Glen Eagles Drive.
And as the bears come out of hibernation, encounters with people will soon start to rise.
