Manager talks about the sale of Tranquille on the Lake
Tranquille on the Lake is up for sale, but that doesn't mean the dream is dead. Development manger Tim Mcleod says the sale is an exciting thing for the city.
The low Canadian dollar is part of the reason why Tranquille on the Lake is up for sale.
Tranquille on the Lake has just been put on the market. That's the historic piece of farmland, and former tuberculosis and mental institution at the mouth of Kamloops Lake. It's listed as a 15.9 million dollar development opportunity. Plans have been in the works for years to build a sustainable community on the property. Tim McLeod is the current manager of Tranquille.
