A campaign to save students thousands of dollars begins at Thompson Rivers University today.
TRU's student union is launching an open textbook campaign.
To explain, two members of TRUSU dropped by the Daybreak studio: Alex McLellan is the university governance coordinator and Michael Zaitlin is chair of the student caucus.
