Unofficial reports from the Adams River are now backed-up with hard numbers that this fall was the worst Sockeye salmon run since 1939.
The number of Sockeye Salmon returning to the interior this fall was the lowest in decades.
It was not a good year for the world famous Adams River Salmon Run. Official word is just in. The number of sockeye returning to spawn last fall was the lowest since 1939. And it wasn't just the Adams river, record lows were also recorded in the South Thompson and the Fraser. So, what happened to all those fish?
