Cambridge councillor says push to pause development in Preston 'doesn't make sense'
The municipality of Preston falls under ward 3 in Cambridge, Ont. The city has long had its eyes on the area as a hub for growth and innovation. Waterloo startup wins money for invention that is a 'game-changer' for women's health
Pap tests are a familiar procedure for women and are often, as CELLECT Lab says, uncomfortable and invasive. Despite this, they are crucial in detecting early signs of human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer. Cowan Park in Ayr destroyed by EF2 tornado set to fully reopen by May
In August 2024, a tornado touched down in Ayr, Ont. Despite being a relatively small disaster, a community park was closed because of the damages. A Township of North Dumfries report to council Monday evening confirmed that the park has been cleaned up, restored and is set to fully reopen by May.

Dead fish removed by city crews from Waterloo pond after die-off
Dead fish were removed from a stormwater pond in Waterloo on Wednesday by city crews. The exact cause of the die-off is unclear, although city staff say they're not concerned about contamination at this time.
