11 nabbed for stolen property, drugs in Guelph Police investigation
Bicycles, parts, electronics, drugs and replica firearms seized by officers
A search warrant conducted at a Guelph home on Friday resulted in 11 people being charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said officers seized a large number of bicycles, bicycle parts, electronics, identification documents and replica firearms from a home on Ferguson Street and a house on Alice Street in an investigation dubbed Project Draw.
Drugs found at the scene included marijuana, crystal meth, hydromorphone and morphine.
On Monday, police released more details about those charged, all of whom are from Guelph:
- 40-year-old woman charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 28-year-old woman charged with possession of stolen property, four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 32-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of probation and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 39-year-old woman charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of probation and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 27-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of recognizance and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 28-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property, breach of recognizance and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 44-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property, breach of probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 57-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 33-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property, breach of probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 19-year-old woman charged with possession of stolen property, breach of probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- 42-year-old man charged with possession of stolen property and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Police have asked anyone who has filed a report of stolen property to be patient as it will take officers some time to get through all the recovered item.
Anyone who had an item stolen but have not reported it to police can do so online on the Guelph Police website.
Please do not call in to see if your stolen bike was located in Project Draw. There are still many hours of sorting to be done.
