It was an assignment like no udder for a few Waterloo Regional Police officers.

They received a call Tuesday morning to help wrangle a loose bull north of Waterloo.

Officers were called to Benjamin road, east of Erbsville Road, after receiving reports of the large farm animal roaming rural roads.

Waterloo Regional Police confirmed officers were working to contain the farm animal and figure out the bull's owner.

Police have not said yet how they moved the animal from where they contained it.

Gerard Hartman of Benjamin Tree Farm said he wasn't at his farm Tuesday, but he was aware the bull had been on the property. It did not cause any damage.
