The camera was mounted above the nest by the Grand River Conservation Authority earlier this spring with the help of donations from the public, before the breeding pair of osprey returned to the nest on April 8. The osprey have been using the nest for several years, according to the GRCA.
The camera has been live since April 25, and by April 30, three eggs had been laid.
The GRCA estimates that the osprey eggs should begin hatching around June 2.
