2019 federal election results for Waterloo region and surrounding areas
The unofficial results are now in for all federal ridings in the K-W area. Elections Canada official validated results will not be available for another week or two.
Polls closed at 9:30 p.m. Monday night in Waterloo region for the 2019 federal election.
And the winners are:
- Liberal Bryan May — Cambridge
- Liberal Marwan Tabbara — Kitchener South-Hespeler
- Liberal Lloyd Longfield — Guelph
- Liberal Raj Saini — Kitchener Centre
- Liberal Bardish Chagger — Waterloo
- Conservative John Nater — Perth-Wellington
- Conservative Michael Chong — Wellington-Halton Hills
- Liberal Tim Louis — Kitchener-Conestoga
Staffing issues lead to voting slowdowns in some Ontario polling stations, including in Guelph, though Elections Canada says no people were prevented from voting due to the slowdowns.
