Police looking for 4 men after reported shooting in Cambridge

Waterloo regional police are looking for four men involved in what is believed to be a targeted shooting in Cambridge.

Police received reports of a disturbance at a residence in the area of Can-Amera Parkway and Franklin Boulevard in Cambridge around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A firearm was fired at the scene, police said. Officers believe a man was injured, but was seen fleeing the area. Police would like to locate the man to determine the severity of his injuries.

Investigators are now looking for four men seen leaving the area in a white rental van.

One was wearing a black coat and grey pants. A second man was wearing a dark coat and dark pants.

The third man is described as wearing a black coat.

Police do not have a description of the fourth man believed to be involved.

Police are also looking for a man and a woman who were seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

The woman is described as being in her 20s with blonde hair. She was seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The man was wearing a plaid jacket and blue jeans.

Police said there is no risk to public safety.
