Officers responded to multiple reports of gun shots fired in a plaza in the area of Fairway Road S. and Wilson Avenue at around 5:40 p.m, Waterloo Regional Police Service said.

Police found one man and two women when they arrived. The man was taken to an out of town hospital in critical condition.
