Six Nations of the Grand River has reconstructed a 17th century Iroquoian longhouse.
It's part of Kayanase, an ecological restoration and tourism initiative in Six Nations.
The idea is to have a space that accurately represents Haudenosaunee culture while also providing economic and social benefits to the community.
Kerdo Deer is the ecotourism coordinator at Kayanase and spoke to CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's Paula Duhatschek about the work that's been done.
