Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in London and Guelph Thursday.

Trudeau will visit Fanshawe College's Centre for Applied Transportation Technologies Thursday morning, his itinerary says.

He is scheduled to tour Polycon Industries in Guelph in the afternoon. Polycon is an automotive parts manufacturer that is a division of Magna International.

The reason for Trudeau's visit was not released. However, recent announcements from the federal Liberals have focused on green technologies. Polycon recently completed work on a combined heat and power project to generate electricity for the plant.

The prime minister was previously the Waterloo region in January when he toured Googe's Canadian headquarters and announced funding for water research.
