What's open and closed in Waterloo region on Canada Day
All government offices will be closed on Tuesday for Canada Day

Tuesday is Canada Day and that means there will be closures or changes to services across Waterloo region.
All government offices will be closed on Tuesday, including passport offices and Service Canada locations.
Grand River Transit will operate on a holiday service schedule on Canada Day. All customer service centres, with the exception of the location on Strasburg Road, will be open on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There are no changes to curbside waste collection. People should have their garbage on the curb by 7 a.m. on their regular pickup day. Transfer stations for residential drop-off at both the Cambridge and Waterloo Waste Management sites will be closed Tuesday.
All public libraries will be closed.
Most community centres across Waterloo region are closed.
The Region of Waterloo notes cooling spaces at 150 Main St. in Cambridge, 150 Frederick St. in Kitchener will be open during the holidays. The one in Cambridge will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the one in Kitchener will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
