Here's what you can do when Waterloo region moves to Step 2 on Monday

Waterloo region will catch up with the rest of Ontario by moving to Step 2 of the province's reopening plan Monday.
That means a mix of new activities — like overnight camps, outdoor sports leagues, and outdoor gatherings with more participants — will soon be on the table.
Waterloo region may spend only a few days in Step 2, as Medical Officer of Health Dr. Hsiu-Li Wang has said the region is expected to move to Step 3 Friday with the rest of the province.
For now, here's a look at what's allowed:
Gatherings
- Outdoor gatherings of up to 25 people.
- Indoor gatherings of up to five people.
Religious services and ceremonies
- Indoor services permitted at up to 25 per cent of a room's capacity
- Outdoor services permitted with capacity limited to allow physical distancing.
Retail
- Essential retail stores can open to 50 per cent capacity.
- Non-essential retail stores can open to 25 per cent capacity.
- Stores in shopping malls can open with restrictions.
- Liquor stores can open up to 50 per cent capacity.
Dining
- Outdoor dining expands to six people per table, with exceptions for large households.
- Outdoor karaoke permitted with restrictions.
Recreation
- Outdoor fitness classes with three metres of distance between people.
- No-contact outdoor sports, with no limit on the number of people or teams.
- Overnight camps for children.
- Outdoor concerts, theatres, cinemas, horse racing and motor speedways up to 25 per cent audience capacity.
- Outdoor water parks, fairs and amusement parks up to 25 per cent capacity.
Indoor services
- Personal care services such as salons can open to 25 per cent capacity if masks can be worn at all times. Appointments are required.
- Public libraries can open up to 25 per cent capacity.
- Commercial, film and TV production open with no audience, and other restrictions.
- Driving instruction permitted with restrictions.
