Take a photo journey through the community of Williamsburg

CBC K-W spent a week in Williamsburg as part of our Communities in Focus initiative. During that week, reporters got to know more about the area, business owners, residents and community leaders.

Williamsburg is only 20 years old and is seeing massive growth as development in the area booms

CBC Kitchener-Waterloo spent a week in Williamsburg as part of a special Communities in Focus initiative, which aims to build and deepen relationships by highlighting new and unheard voices.

As part of this project we're getting to know this growing community in southwest Kitchener. It's a neighbourhood that is only about 20 years old and has seen a boom in development over the last two years.

CBC K-W will also be at Max Becker Common in Williamsburg on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m for Earth Day Clean Up in the 'Burg!'

That day visitors will have the chance to chat with The Morning Edition's Craig Norris about what matters to your community, share your story ideas and record a station ID for use on-air.

Experience a virtual journey through audio, video and digital storytelling as our reporters walk you through their week in Williamsburg.
