3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer Ryan Soulliere listens to a lot of music for his role picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

Kazdoura - Khayal

Out of the three song picks this week, Kazdoura's Khayal is by far the most mellow. Khayal has a perfect sound for easing into your weekend mornings. Even the vocals on Khayal are delivered with a kind of softness that is easy on the ears and calming for the nerves. When you need a song to help you relax and recentre, Khayal is the one. 

King Cruff - Samurai Chop 

In contrast, King Cruff's 2022 single Samurai Chop will have you strutting your stuff down an imaginary runway like it's fashion week. When you need one song to get a party started Samurai Chop will do the trick. If you'd like even more music from King Cruff his latest 6-song EP What Have I 'Don dropped this week. 

Erez Zobary - Henna  

Rounding out the three song picks this week is Erez Zobary's latest single Henna. This song has all of the right things going for it from a perfect dance beat to warm, silky vocals wrapped in wonderful instrumentation. If that is not enough, the chorus is an earworm that could stick with you for days. Try Erez Zobary's Henna on any party mix and if you want a little motivation for weekend chores, Henna will help you light that fire.
