Sunshine Makers
Sunshine Makers is the brain child of London-based Brent Jackson. Brent earned his musical chops playing guitar in the indie rock band The Junction throughout the early 2000's.
The relationships he made with fellow music makers during that time helps fuel guest artists like Odario Williams (of Grand Analog) on his tracks. The music is smooth and goes down very easy. Check out Empathy by Sunshine Makers.
Charlie Weber
London-born Charlie Weber has been working hard since 2013 and it's paying off. From house parties to festival stages, Charlie comfortable in a group setting or alone with a guitar.
Years of crafting his songwriting skills resulted in honest lyrics with well arranged instrumentation. Charlie Weber's latest album is Gold Never Stays. The song Southeastern Home is a great example of what Charlie brings to the London music scene.
Laura Mb
Laura Mb is a relatively new addition to the London music scene, moving from Colombia just over a year ago. And within no time, she fit right in with a December Music Monday performance put on by the London Music Office.
With a catalogue that dates back to 2020, Laura is almost the definition of emerging artist. Although somewhat new to releasing music it does not show. Laura's sound is well polished and perfectly blends pop, Latin rhythms, indie vibes, and R&B. You can certainly hear that in her single Cremallera.
Lost in Japan
Lost in Japan is indie-pop rock at its finest. They've been performing and making music in London since 2017 and through the years they have really come into their own sound. That sound garnered attention and an award from Corus Entertainment in 2021 for their song Lonely.
With the recent release of their sophomore LP Night Talks, Lost in Japan is cementing their place in the local music scene. Check out Won't Let You from their latest album.
