Take part in CBC London's Make the Season Kind
Join us for a celebration of community and kindness and help support local food banks
You may know it as Sounds of the Season, but this year, we're joining 26 other CBC stations coast-to-coast to bring you Make the Season Kind. It's is our annual holiday fundraiser in support of the London Food Bank.
The goal is to raise money, food donations and awareness for those facing food insecurity in London. This year, the need is greater than ever.

Reasons to give
Londoners gave more than $63,000 to the CBC London foodbank campaign in 2023. It made a difference for the many people struggling to make ends meet. Since 2015, the CBC has raised more than $51 million for food banks and other charities from coast to coast as part of their annual holiday drives.
Some data to consider from Feed Ontario:
- Some 1 million Ontarians visited a food bank between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024.
- That was a 25 per cent increase from the year before.
- Food banks were visited 7.6 million times last year.
- It's the eighth consecutive year food bank use has risen in the province.
