The world will mark 100 years since the end of World War I this Sunday, as millions of Canadians pause to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

Remembrance Day services are planned for Victoria Park, Western University and a sunset bell ringing ceremony.

All of the events are free to attend and all are welcome.

Saturday evening candlelight service

Everyone is welcome to attend a candlelight service at Victoria Park which starts at 7 p.m. at the Carillon Bells. Attendants will then march to the Cenotaph for a short service.
